Isabelle Derecque, a multidisciplinary artist and trained designer, achieved a major career highlight in 2022 when twenty paintings from her “Sunshine Pop!” series were added to the Deji Museum of Contemporary Art in Nanjing, China. Born in Brussels in 1984, Isabelle's art is deeply influenced by her love for travel, shaped by childhood memories of her grandmother's sun-soaked life in Florida. Her paintings offer a visual escape, filled with bold colors and serene landscapes, blending calm with movement. Her use of mirrored plexiglass introduces a unique dynamic, where reflections and light transform each viewing into a personal experience that constantly evolves.
